Strettle Wetlands is based in Thornbury, on the eastern banks of the Merri Creek in Naarm, aka Melbourne. It's a peaceful space, constructed in 1989 as part of a flood protection scheme, and has been planted with native trees, shrubs and aquatic plants that provide habitat for numerous bird and frog species.
